21st century classroom
A 21st century classroom is constantly changing with new and improved technology that comes about each year. In every classroom you are almost guaranteed to see at least 3 desktop computers if not a few laptops. It is also very common having a television to watch educational DVD's. In many classrooms you are starting to see overhead projectors being replaced with smart boards which is also making blackboards obsolete. Textbooks are becoming scarce. Textbooks are being replaced by teaching kits and computer programs. I have also noticed in the classroom desks are almost always placed in groups. This allows for teachers to group students by ability for lessons. There is also a tendency for the walls to be completely covered with rules, maps, calenders, art work and other educational posters.

This seems like a pretty accurate portrayal of classrooms. I like that you put in specific details about the classroom.
